Patient observer of beauty. Adventurous spirit with camera in hand, capturing moments with exceptional light, gesture and color. Based in Poway, CA, Maggie is a juried award winning photographer and instructor of photography and compositing. Her photographic focus is cowboy culture, nature and anything else that makes her look twice; she is also writing and illustrating a series of children’s books. On any day she can talk cowboy with the most seasoned roper, capture a child’s wonder and photograph the magic of a dandelion.
When not photographing or working on her composites and children’s books, she is loving life and laughing with family and friends. Plus, she makes a mean carrot cake, sworn to be the best ever by her wonderful husband, Bob.
